We are currently in the process of adding RSS to the website. RSS, also known as Really Simple Syndication, is a way to distribute news and other content across the Internet.
The best way to show what you can do with RSS is with an example of the first area of the website we have syndicated, the What's New feature on the home page. Since many of you use Yahoo, we'll show how to add the What's New RSS feed to your My Yahoo! page.
On your My Yahoo! page, you should see a button on the left-hand side, near the top, labeled Add Content (your view may vary). Click on the Add Content button, which takes you to a page with a box labeled Find Content. On the right side of this page, click on the Add RSS by URL link.
On the Add RSS by URL page, add the following to the URL text box:
http://www.tiftmerritt.net/Home/tabid/36/moduleid/368/RSS.aspx
Click on the Add button, then click on the Add to My Yahoo! button on the next page.
Now on your My Yahoo! page, you should see the What's New items from our website. If you don't see any, click on the Edit button for Tift Merritt Fans box, then click on the Edit Content item from the menu that is displayed. Here, you can change the number of articles displayed, the from date, etc.

You can also add the RSS feed to your Google Personalized Home page. You may need a Google Gmail e-mail account to do this, but I can't remember if that is a requirement.
If you are using the Google Toolbar with your browser and you have the Google Toolbar options set to display the Subscribe button on the toolbar, click here:
RSS Feed
After clicking on the link, you should see the Subscribe button on the Google Toolbar become active. Click on that button, and the RSS feed should be added to your Google Personalized Home page.
