| Tift will be the special guest for Nickel Creek April 12-26 in GA, FL, AL, MS, TX, NM, and AZ. Man, that's quite a schedule. When does that woman ever sleep? |

| Here's an opportunity for any aspiring Mack-Daddies to get their laurels--let us know if you intend to go for it and who knows--you may find that your beneficiary has been forewarned . . . |

| Savannah on the 12th, I would be very tempted to road trip to that show, but alas , The Man is keeping me down by already having that whole week off. I have to stay at work and be The Man in his place. |

| That's the show I saw at Largo, for which I did a review. By all means everyone should try to make it. I will try to make the Arizona shows. |

| Guessing this will be Tift solo, or Tift with Brad? The rest of the guys are too busy sorting the new record! |

The NC tour should be great for putting Tift in front of a lot of people and winning them over - billed as the NC 'farewell' tour should guarantee full houses every night.
...and who's the .net offical representative - do we have anyone out there going to one of these shows?
We're gonna be wanting reviews, news, setlists, photos etc etc you know the stuff we like here! |

| Absomatingluteley, Android. I'm really hoping we get some Wanna-Bees earnign MD status at these gigs. NC will be very happy about that, because they will get to share the Maker's. |

I wonder if Tift solo will be similar to her gig with Dwight Yokum... i.e. acoustic guitar or keyboards... a very nice show if that is the case..

| Yes. By the way, she was quite proud of that gig, Robert. And she was glad you were there. |

I think Tift is fantastic solo. More interesting than with the band (in my humble opinion!), though I loved the band too. And I loved Tift with Brad and Tift with James. Oh no, I'm starting to gush, help ... !

| . . . or Tift with some loser--whatever. Doesn't matter. Hey Vicky--what sort of archiving do you do? I used to be in the history museum racket myself, for a brief time after grad school. |

I definitely vote for Tift solo. But yeah, any configuration of Tift is very welcome, any time she fancies.
I'm the archivist at one of the big teaching hospitals in London at the moment. So I deal with old medical records and also women's history because we have the archive of the first medical school in England to accept women. But I'm probably going to be 'cut', boo hoo! Wonder if Tift needs an archivist. What do you do Phillip?
I prefer the Lisa avatar. I was holding a Madonna ticket in the other one, it just wasn't right! |

How 'bout you holding a Tift ticket?
What do I do . . . hmm . . . varies from day to day. I teach a western civ II class at the community college on Tu-Th during the school year, I write articles for sailing magazines fairly frequently, write and illustrate storybooks that I will web-publish before too long, and do whatever I can for TM. From 2000-2006 I restored our sailboat and now I am turning that attention to our old house and that will occupy me for the better part of this year I think. I always have a lot going on, but my income doesn't meet taxable minimum. Fortunately, Andie's does.
If you had your choice, where would you like to work? |

Phillip - ok, you get the avatar I know you want! What you do sounds really good. You going to post a photo of your sailboat? I haven't forgotten you said you'd take us Brits out in it when we come over to see Tift!!
I don't really know where I'd like to work. Being an archivist is good because you get to learn about all sorts of random organisations and people through their records, and you get to see all the confidential stuff no one else gets to see. The Red Cross would be good. Or I fancy railways, no idea why! |

| Yes! Your new avatar ROCKS. Absolutely any pond-crossers will be treated to the works. What fun. I'll see if I can stick some good pictures in here. |
