They don't know either, Andy. It's a long-running project--about three years into it now.

Hey gang!!! As we all know, there were strick rules against recording devices and cameras. Forgive the audio quality (it was hidden in my pocket) but it's better than nothing! Enjoy!!!

Oh wow! Can it get any better? Thanks so much Tim for making this available, I thought at first, maybe its just a couple of songs, but no! You got the whole concert - the best damn 'hidden in a pocket' audio I've heard! Excellent stuff - thanks a million!

Hey,

We were sitting in the center of row K. The Carolina Theater is awesome! I hope we're able to see the videos they made.

Finally I am on the Tift Merritt fan website! It was a pleasure meeting other TM fans at the Durham show. She is a fantastic performer. I also thoroughly enjoyed Sarah Watkins and anticipate the release of her first album.

For those of you who have seen Mitch's video: Tift's fabulous dress is no longer available and even if it were it would probably cost several hundred. :(

Hi Jana! Thanks for coming around. Maybe we'll auction her dress off for charity or something someday.

And hi Jana from the UK! Good to see you here on the only place to be. A pleasure to meet you too.
Was that your first Tift show?

Hi guys, I am swell. Yes, this was my first Tift show and I truly enjoyed it. Looking forward to more when she is back in NC.

Ok, I'm a slacker, but I just got my pics from the show uploaded.  I didn't thumbnail these, so it may take awhile for them all to load.

Some crazy people that I coincidentally ran into at the show.

Blocking my view of the sign.

Stealing my soul.

This autograph line made possible by Sharpie-brand markers.

For some reason, I don't think the t-shirt looks much like Tift.

There were LPs for sale there.  I'd've bought one, but I don't have a record player.

Fans and the band

The Brotherhood of Beards?

Y'know...  I just now noticed that setlist in his hands.

Back to the line

This one looks like kind of an intimate moment.  Wish I'd gotten a better angle than this; behind the autograph line isn't the greatest place to capture people's good sides.

Take two aspirin, and call me in the morning.

Tift reacts to a spontaneous outbreak of ninja vs. pirate vs. cowboy fighting near the end of the line.

My apologies to everyone in these pictures.  If I'd been standing, say, behind the lady in the background selling Tift merchandise, these pictures would have been much more flattering.

Our (now official?) videographer reaches into his bag of tricks.

Notice how I perfectly focused right past the subjects, and onto the doorframe in the background in nearly all of these.

I think those pictures are great. Very natural and unposed.

It looks very much like "A Good Time was Had by All!"

Especially Zeke and Tift in the last photo.... wreaking lots of Zeke-envy out there??

PMColt, those are awesome photos. May be the first pictures I've seen of me with Tift. Well, there was one from a few years back where the top of my head is missing.

Hear hear. Good captions too, as usual. The one of her and Andy is one of those lucky one where you get the facial expression perfect.

Great shots pmc - Thanks!  Was worth waiting for these   So pleased you guys took pics that night - normally I'm right there with my camera too but, as I noted elsewhere, I was just too swept up with everything in to do my usual thing!
