It was nice to see Tift tickle the ivories on national TV. Great job!
Other random thoughts: 1. Dave called her "the fantastic Tift Merritt" during his opening bit.
2. This has to be one of the few times that Tift was not the shortest guest on the set during a late-night TV appearance. (Dave interviewed a 12-year-old actress earlier in the program.)
3. Paul Shaffer must have been impressed by Danny Eisenberg's work on the keys. I wish he would have had a chance to make one of patented goofball comments.
4. I hope the appearance pushes a few more copies of AC out the door! |

Tift has this way that she can do a song totally differently and it is still great.
I noticed she ware two rings. A giant on on her left hand and one on the right. The one on the right looked more like an engagement ring, but isn't an engagement ring worn on the left hand? |

enjoy the london show, its sold out how cool, its the closest show for me but fanced a road trip up north well midlands!

Great performance as always ! What a treat Morning.... with Tift playing the Ivory !!! Last night, reminded me again of just how much talent surrounds Tift and just how darn good they work together as a band. Zeke, Jay, Danny and Scott are awesome !!! You East Coast folks have a lot of road trip show possibilities later this summer and I look forward to hearing from everyone who has the chance to catch a show and maybe a few of you might even bag a choice bootleg to send Phillip's way. Good performance. Nice one Tift & mates.
And the big issue is who stole ZEKE's hair...?! What went on here, was there a 3 for 2 offer at the barbers???
