Wow the concert was great, especially considering the hot muggy conditions. Tift and the guys really had to work hard but they were awesome. Chatham County Line opened the show and they were also very good(Even returning for an encore with Tift and the band to end the show.). Tift gave a real nice shoutout to Philip Ried for all his hard work and hospitality and his efforts really paid off with this quality event. I even got to say hello to him, and my daughter got to meet Tift for the first time so all in all it was a wonderful day. Looking forward to the next time we get to see Tift. |

The show was sold out so i believe that was somewhere between 900-1,000 people. |

Hot it was , but what a great concert! I brought a couple of friends who had never seen Tift and the boys and they could not say enough about how much they enjoyed it. It seems we've got two more fans. I thought the venue was perfect with a great cross section of folks. Little kids to old folks like myself. The little ones sat on the edge of the stage the whole show. I think some of them will surely have a career in music. Chatham County Line opened and were perfect. I really enjoyed the three song encore and the closing number that included Chatham County Line. The show just ROCKED!

Sounds like it was sucessful all around, sold out show, young to old enjoying it, new fans, friends opening and sitting in, everyone's gotta feel good about that! Were there any unusual songs played? What song did Chatham County Line sit in on? Anybody got the whole setlist to share? I hope Tift had time to go surfing the next day or something, sounds like it was a scorcher. |

The bad news is that I'll have no video to share with you. The good news is that my failure to record video is tied directly to the brisk merch trade Saturday night and Sunday evening.
Lots of people at the Raleigh and Wilmington shows were interested in buying something to help them remember some high-quality musical performances.
I have no set list from Sunday, but I believe CCL joined Tift and band for "When I Cross Over," which Dave Wilson and Greg Readling must have performed many, many times during their tours of duty with TM. |

I have five set lists from the stage, all in T's handwriting as always. I'll happily give away four of them to me mates here at .net. Send me an e-mail to claim one--first four claims get 'em. I'll e-mail back whether you got one or not and if you did just send me a SASE and it's yours.

While I'm no Mitch Kokai behind the vidcam, I did get some short behind the scenes clips from yesterday. I will work with those such as Mitch who know more than I do to figure out how to string them into something that we can show you on the TMSTFC YouTube channel. I wish I had been able to get more, but I discovered it's impossible to work and film yourself doing it! |

Well y'all, just finishd putting the last bunch of stuff away from yesterday. I am proud to report that the first concert in the newly-renovated and vastly-improved Greenfield Amphitheater, which finally gives Wilmington an appropriately-sized and -equipped outdoor performance venue in a beatiful setting, was a smashing success and, most important to everyone here, was headlined by someone we all care about more than a little. Tift was most pleased with the show and the crowd was most pleased iwth her and the band and the remarkable Chatham County Line. I'm so glad those guys could jump in and do the gig at late notice, and we all told them so. They were happy to play to an audience three times larger than their usual Wilmington crowd, and T was too. Needless to say, I hope we can do it again next year. Also needless to say--despite the fact that it somewhat kicked my ass, it was a memorable experience and I was honored to be a part of it. The paper took some cool photos and you can look at them here. |

Show sounded awesome, can't wait for the photos If any "Heels" happened to snap a photo of our favorite 6 string at rest (a rare and most elusive event) during its most recent tour of duty, please send it in. Shug that concert you posted about in SF looks awesome. I've been sitting here ever since holding a pair of overpriced tickets to ACL and asking myself why ? |

When I Cross Over with Dave and Greg sitting in would've been really cool, sounds like guitar jam ecstasy to me. Would a soundboard recording for the downloads page be too much to hope for? Phillip, thanks for the link to the Star News photos. I especially like photo #2, that's a neat shot of a smiling Tift, Jay and Scott all lined up. And Danny's back!!! That's a relief for me, feared he might not return. Looks like a very laid back kind of event from the photos. I'm envious, no Tift live for me since April and none in sight... :( I'm sure there is no comparison to seeing Tift in NC. Glad it was so successful. I feel for ya, PJD. Not been to ACL fest but I've heard you have to deal with some insane crowds and traffic to see the admittedly amazing line up. SF can be pretty chill, in my experience seeing shows there. |

Just how many shots do you want?
I added 3 more shots that I thought were good of Tift and CCL. I have a couple more of Chatham County Line guys, but didn't think that was what you wanted. I don't particularly like the shots of Tift I got at her electric piano.

gusg, we're happy to have pictures of Chatham County Line. Do you mind if we add your pictures on flickr to this site?
Also, Dave from N.J. sent me some more pictures from the show, which are up on the site now.

Changed the license on the pictures to the Creative Commons-non commercial on Flickr, so yes you can. Would you like me to upload them?
