I've transcribed the chords for "Six More Days of Rain" and "Engine to Turn" and posted them on my site (http://adamschneider.net/music/tm/).  I'll try to get to "Mixtape" and "Things…" soon.  I'm thinking "Mixtape" might be tricky.

By the way, does anyone have any lyrics typed out for the new songs?  It would save me a little work.

Roooock--dude I would totally type up lyrics if I had time but right now I do NOT so anyone quasi-literate who wants to take a stab at it should go for it.

I would do it, but I'm the one who asked Tift about her song "The Fear of Nowhere." You know, it's the one actually called "Feel Of The World."

"Virginia, no one can warm you," received Tift's ridicule, wasn't me, but only because I can't find my tongue around her.

Update: "Mixtape" and "Things That Everybody Does" are on there now.

But what on earth is the phrase in "Things..." after "love letters aloud":

You caught me reading love letters aloud
To horses(?) and children, to stars and to trees

Is it "horses"? Maybe, but it almost sounds like there's another syllable in there.

(I finally decoded "Donovan's 'Colours'" in "Mixtape" after much rewinding and replaying.)

"Feel of the World" is up, with large gaps in the lyrics...

It's horses--I think you got it. It's hard to deciper lyrics sometimes when the stress in a word is on the wrong syllable, which is why "Donovan's" is hard.

Via Facebook, Tift filled in the biggest gap in "Feel of the World" for me.

I just put up "All The Reasons..." -- based on the live recording in the Downloads section here -- and would welcome suggestions on the second verse there.

Love your site Adam.  Thanks for all your hard work.  Us floundering gutarist's appreciate it.

You are going to be a busy guy with Mary Chapin Carpenter's "Age of Miracles" dropping April 27th and Kim Richey's "Wreck your Wheels"(out in the UK) due out this fall.  Keep up the good work.

It's possible I might jot down a couple of the new Kim Richey songs if I find the time, but I haven't bought a MCC album since 2001... her newer work just doesn't sing to me.

Finding the time is key; most of the songs on my site were written down when I was in college or just out, and I had a hell of a lot more spare time.

Adam, As another guitar hack, I too appreciate all of your TM lyrics and chords posts. Sorry, I don't know enough of the new song lyrics to be of much assistance. I enjoyed your web site and I have also taken in a show at Doug Fir - Portland is neat. Peter

It's Tuesday, which means another new song is up ("Never Talk About It"). But only two chords? Where's the challenge in that?? :)

Still keeping up with the Tuesday preview releases... plus I've also got "See You on the Moon," which was posted somewhere -- I don't remember where -- in its entirety recently.

Based on Hugh Gilmore's video, I've updated "Engine To Turn" -- if anyone else has any recent footage lying around, let me know!

Adam, if you haven't seen it yet, check out Tift's solo "Engine To Turn" performance in the "N.C. Museum of Art celebration performance" thread.

Access it directly here.

(Two more videos of new tunes are slated for that thread over the next week.)

Thanks, the video helped me find a few passing D chords in the bridge of "Engine to Turn."

ALL songs from See You On The Moon are now up on my site.  Of course, I'll still be correcting them as needed...
