Read it here.

Well, right away, I was off trying to play clubs, trying to be an artist. I didn't think any one could teach me that. It ended up I got a job through a friend in New York and was there for a little while. Finally, I realized that I was being a waitress more than anything else, so when I did start school, in my first class, I just happened to meet a drummer. I had kind of decided that playing in clubs was a little tougher than I was. It took me a little while, but I eventually got the nerve to give him a taste of my stuff. He came back the next day and brought drums and a bunch of LPs, and I said, "What are you doing?" and he said we have to have a band. He's now my husband.
