| I've tried several times to change my avatar and it doesn't take--regardless of whether I remove the old one, then save changes, then upload new one in two separate operations, or do it in one. Andie told me she's had to try up to 20 times before to change hers, but she's never told you. I'm not that patient. |

| I have the same problem with mine insofar as it doesn't take immediately. But the new one does appear after a while, so I just upload it once and leave it. |

This may be a problem with your browser. Browsers (like Internet Explorer and Firefox) store (cache) images on your hard drive because it's quicker to retrieve them from your hard drive rather than across the Internet.
Using Firefox, I pressed Ctrl-R and your new avatar (Tift with Al?) was displayed. I think in Internet Explorer it's View - Refresh from the menu.
If that doesn't work, sometimes you have to manually clear the cache. In FireFox, it's Tools - Options from the menu, then click on the Advanced tab. On the Advanced tab, click the Clear Now button. With Internet Explorer, select Tools - Internet Options from the menu and select the General tab. In the Browsing History section, click the Delete... button, then click the Delete Files button in the Temporary Internet Files section.
Sometimes even after that, I have to reboot. |

| Chris--that was most educational and I appreciate it and will remember it. |
