Andie,

Please count me in plus one guest. I'm up for any of the options. My only caveat is that if the restaurant involves a drive away from the venue, let's allow ourselves some time to return and find parking.

Thanks for organizing!

Andie,

Please count me in for just myself.  I'm good with any of those options.  Thanks!!  --DK

Snows would also like to stick close to the theatre, if possible. Other than that, the place that is least likely to be overrun by NCAA basketball tourney-goers would be our next vote. Go Hogs. (see, Craig, I remembered!)

Wherever 'there' is, I'll be there. My vote is for the restaurant closest to the theatre, to minimize my chances of getting lost.

Also my plans to meet a friend that afternoon fell through, so if anything is going on beforehand, let me know. Otherwise, I'll just drive down in time for dinner.

Well, all of them are within walking distance, so since Forrest has already expressed a preference for Rue Cler, how about there?

Now what we need please is a head count. Anyone who has not already posted and said "Me! Me! Pick me!" with the number they're bringing along, could you please try to let us know by Friday evening? I want to give the restaurant as much advance notice as I can that we're descending on them.

So far I got:

Phillip and Andy and me

Mitch and Jana

Forrest and ??

David K.

BobbyD

PMColt

Diane and Craig

Zach - how many people will you have with you?

So who else is in? Hub,are you not coming?  We have 11 plus Zach and however many in his group. Give me a head count and we'll git 'r done!

You Guys, whatever you do in downtown Durham is dangerous day or night I plan to run back and forth too my car. You may want to meet somewhere around 15-501 and I-40 theres some good places there.
Just a suggestion but how about an afterparty.
Theres a new place called Papa-Mojos. At the intersection of hwy 55 and 54.
It's owned by bluesman Mel Melton (see at papamojosroadhouse.com/ ) great music and good food, no sprits though. Anywhere you go you want to make reservations.
Just a suggestion.

I have a table for my group of 5 at Rue Cler at 6:30. I'm not as nice as the rest of you guys. Both Rue Cler and the Piedmont are about a block from the theatre and even in Durham I wouldn't be afraid of walking thence.

Andie, I will be there for the show, but I have a previous engagement in Rocky Mount that is not over until 8:00 so no pre-show availability.  This is the second time I was not able to participate.  I swear, if I had one thing scheduled in a year the next thing that came up would be on the exact same day.  I did a practice run to the Carolina Theatre on Wednesday since I have never been there and did not want to be searching around in the dark - I had to take my lawnmower into Raleigh anyway.  I clocked it at 1 - 1/4 hours.  So, with parking and getting in I probably won't arrive until 9:30 (better than nothing).  I hope Sarah Watkins has a long opening act.

Well rats, Scott! We'll miss you!

Forrest, I'm harrassing you at the restaurant for not sitting with us, so just be prepared. Five? You're popular!

OK, I'm calling in a reservation for peeps as soon as we hear from Zach. I'll give you the details as soon as they're made.

I don't know Andie, I'll probably have 2 plus myself, and then, I'll have some friends meet me at the show.

OK guys, we have a reservation for 13, split into two groups, under the name Reid (Phillip or Andi) at Rue Cler for 6;00. They would prefer that we get there early so they can get everyone through. They have a lot of people wanting to eat there before the Tift concert!

See you there!

I'm glad y'all were able to get into Rue Cler. I hope it lives up to the expectations (it has to - it's going to be a great night). I look forward to seeing you all.
