This just in.... the Current radio station, 89.3 FM is launching a new show called "United States of Americana" on Sunday, Nov. 8th at 9am hoasted by DJ Bill Deville. The weekly show will focus on the more "country influenced" side of music already featured on the station and will include a variety of folk, bluegrass, rock and traditional and alternative country music. The show's first installment on Sunday features an in-studio performance by Rosanne Cash.
I hope this news help's "entice" Tift to make MPLS/St. Paul a stop when she "hit's the road" to promote the new album she's working on now. We in Minnesota need a little "Tift love" because it's been almost 2 years since she was last here and besides, how can I become a Street Teamer if she deosn't come here. If she does stop here maybe I could help line up an in-studio performance with the station and even video tape it, if she and the station would allow it.
One can only try
Hey Phillip, can you see to it the T get's this info, thanks.
