Tift's joining the Guthrie extended family, among others, in a benefit concert on February 14 in Pittsfield.  Pittsfield?

It's sold out, though organizers are still welcoming more people to the venue.

Here's a nice video clip of Tift performing with Johnny Irion and Sarah Lee Guthrie, including the story of the first time T saw (or didn't see) Zeke.

Hmm--getting a message that says "this is a private video--if you have been sent this video, be sure to accept sender's friend request"--??

Interesting. I just tried accessing the video directly from its URL and also received a message that it's private.

I must have seen it before the uploader figured out how to set the privacy settings. Oops.

Since I teased y'all with the story of Tift and Zeke, here's a recap in a nutshell.

First, a little background for those new to the Tift story. Long before Tift had launched her career, Zeke played in a band with Johnny Irion called Queen Sarah Saturday. Major label, big tour, the whole enchilada. (Check out their music video on YouTube. You'll enjoy it.)

Now for the new video that's now unavailable:

Tift walks out with Little Red and invites Johnny Irion and his wife, Sarah Lee Guthrie, to join her. Tift explains that when she was 17 (maybe older, maybe younger) she went to see a show with QSS, What Peggy Wants, and Vanilla Trainwreck.

Apparently, Tift had a crush on the What Peggy Wants guitar player's brother, so that's the band she showed up to see.

Sarah Lee asks what Tift thought of Zeke. "I don't think that I saw Zeke. I don't totally remember seeing Zeke. But I was young."
