Tift's appearance on the CW's Hart of Dixie will be broadcast on Monday, February 6, we learned today. 

Through her Twitter feed, Tift tells us her appearance on the CW Network's "Hart of Dixie" is scheduled Monday, Jan. 30. An acoustic trio recording of songs from the show will be available on iTunes Tuesday, Jan. 24. read more ...

Our favorite singer-songwriter turns 37 on Jan. 8. She'll celebrate her birthday soon by starting work on studio album No. 5. 

Tift returns to network television in early 2012. An episode of the CW Network's "Hart of Dixie" will feature a Tift performance. Watch for the episode to air "around Valentine's Day," according to our favorite singer-songwriter. 

Gary Louris and Mark Olson are releasing their first album together as Jayhawks since 1995. As they tour the new release, Tift will join them for a series of dates in October, including multiple stops in her home state of North Carolina. read more ...

Tift will play the St. Francis Fall for Greenville Festival in Greenville SC and the North Carolina State Fair in Raleigh on 15 and 16 October respectively.  No details yet.  See the official site calendar for links to venues.
